Highlights of the Visit
- She will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of Defence, Nirmala Sitharaman to plan the upcoming visit of the French President Emmanuel Macron.
- A delegation-level talks with her Indian counterpart Nirmala Sitharaman was held in which defence operational cooperation, joint exercises of the armed forces, counter-terrorism, the industrial and technological partnership under the Make in India initiative was discussed.
- The joint venture plans to develop several key components for Rafale Fighter Jets under the Make in India initiative.
- Florence Parly will board the INS Kalvari, the first of the six Scorpene submarines
