Paytm Payments Bank has roped in ICICI Bank executive Sudhanshu Jain as its Chief Financial Officer.
- He worked as an assistant general manager and head of borrowing at the foreign exchange desk at ICICI Bank for 11 years.
- At Paytm, Jain will oversee all financial and regulatory management functions for the Paytm Payments Bank and oversee its finances and expansion plans.
About Paytm Payment Bank
- In 2015 Paytm received a license from Reserve Bank of India to start one of India's first payments banks, called "Paytm Payments Bank Limited"
- It launched operations on May 23, 2017.
- From August 31, 2017, the services of the bank were open to everyone through Paytm Android and iOS app.
- The founder of Paytm Payment Bank is Vijay Shekhar Sharma
