PV Sindhu Wins silver at BWF World Superseries Finals

India's ace shuttler PV Sindhu has added another medal in her bag by winning a silve at the  BWF World Superseries Finals.

She became only the second Indian singles player to reach the final of the year-ending World Superseries Finals following her win over Chen Yufei.

Who won Gold?

During her clash with  World No. 2 Akane Yamaguchi of Japan Sindhu lost the game by 21-15, 12-21, 19-21 and settled for the silvers.

Sindhu's Career Report 2017

The 22-year-old Indian shuttler now has three silvers and two titles to her name.
In 2017, Sndhu won gold in the Syed Modi International, India Open and Korea Open.

Achievements of Sindhu

 At the 2016 Summer Olympics, she became the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal. She is one of the two Indian badminton players to ever win an Olympic medal – other being Saina Nehwal. She was also a silver medalist at the 2017 BWF World Championships and, in 2017, became first Indian ever to win Korea Open Super Series. In 2013, she became the first ever Indian women's singles player to win a medal at the Badminton World Championships.
