‘The School Bag’ Wins Best Short Film Award

The School Bag, a heart-touching movie recreating events that happened in Peshawar in December 2014 when terrorists mowed down hundreds of schoolchildren, has won accolades overseas.

The movie has been awarded the "Best Short Film" at South Asian Film Festival of Montreal (SAFFM).

What is the movie about?

The plot of the story is based in Peshawar telling a beautiful relationship between a mother and her son who wished to have a new school bag on his birthday, but then the coin of fate flips and a hurtful news comes. Rasika Dugal played the character of the mother in the short film.

Various films from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Canada & USA are premiered during the event.
