Highlights of the Ceremony

- India's National Women's Hockey Team bagged the 'Team of the Year' title for their first Asia Cup triumph in 13 years.
- The Moment of the Year' award was awarded to Jeakson Singh for scoring a memorable goal against Columbia in the U-17 FIFA World Cup.
About the jury
The awards recognised achievements across 11 categories, were selected by an independent 14-member jury comprising eminent sports personalities including Abhinav Bindra, Somdev Devvarman, Bhaichung Bhutia, Jagbir Singh, Rohit Brijnath, Venkatesan Devarajan, Nisha Millet, Aparna Popat, Jagdish Kaliraman, Manisha Malhotra, Anju Bobby George.
