Foundation Stone of Institute of HAMP laid in J&K

The foundation stone of Institute of High-Altitude Medicinal Plants (IHAMP) was laid by Union Ministers Jitendra Singh and Shripad Yesso Naik (Ayush Ministry).

• The Institute of High-Altitude Medicinal Plants will be located in Bhaderwah in Doda district of Jammu & Kashmir.

• It will provide research in medicinal plants and promote cultivation of medicinal plants.
• The institute will also provide employment and promote medicinal plant in foreign market.
• The estimated cost of the construction of Institute of High-Altitude Medicinal Plants is Rs 100 crore.
