- To mark the 150thAnniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Business Exhibitions to display relevant technologies for films and Exhibition will be organized with this year’s Festival
- Prakash Javadekar also announced that the festival will pay tribute to Ex-Chief Minister of Goa, Manohar Parrikar
- Roadshows across 7 cities will be conducted to develop buzz for the festival in the film fraternity
- Film personalities lie Feroze Abbas Khan, Karan Johar, Subhash Ghai, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, will be part of the steering committee
- Union Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar and Goa CM Dr Pramod Sawant released a special IFFI Golden Jubilee Edition poster at the event
