- The Sammelan is being organized by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.

- Awards for achievements in broadcasting development programmes will be given to Community Radio Stations by Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on 28th August. The awards include community Engagement Awards, Promotion of Local Culture, etc.
