- Uttar Pradesh government has made women officers as nodal officers to review women-related schemes in the state. It constitutes a 3-member team of women officers and they will visit the allocated districts to make women aware of the various government schemes and initiatives.
- Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved the admission of girl children in Sainik schools with effect from the academic session 2021-22 in a phased manner. The proposal is accepted after the success of the pilot project started by the Ministry for admission of girl children in Sainik School Chhingchhip in Mizoram.
