  • 123rd Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is being observed on 23rd January 2020 across the country. It was on this day in 1897, Netaji was born in Cuttack, Odisha.
  • Union Cabinet on 23rd January 2020 approved to Revised Cost Estimates for the establishment of permanent campuses of new National Institutes of Technology, NITs, at a total cost of Rs 4371.90 crore for the period till 2021-2022.
