SPICe+ Web Form

Current context: Injeti Srinivas, Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), inaugurated the ‘SPICe+’ Web Form on 24th February 2020.

• The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has launched the web forum ‘SPICe+’ (pronounced ‘SPICe Plus’) replacing the existing SPICe form.
• SPICe+ would offer 10 services by 3 Central Govt Ministries & Departments, namely:

1. Ministry of Corporate Affairs
2. Ministry of Labour
3. Department of Revenue in the Ministry of Finance and,
4. One State Government (Maharashtra)

• It will help in saving as many procedures, time and cost for Starting a Business in India and would be applicable for all new company incorporations.
• SPICe+ would have two parts viz:
• Part A-for Name reservation for new companies
• Part B offering a bouquet of services including:

1. Mandatory issue of TAN
2. Incorporation
3. DIN allotment
4. Mandatory issue of PAN
5. Mandatory issue of EPFO registration
6. Mandatory issue of ESIC registration
7. Mandatory issue of Profession Tax registration(Maharashtra)
8. Mandatory Opening of Bank Account for the Company and
9. Allotment of GSTIN (if so applied for)
