- The Uttar Pradesh government has launched three ambitious schemes for skill development and employment generation for youths in the state on 12th March 2020. The three schemes launched are namely: Kaushal Satrang, Yuva Hub and Apprenticeship scheme.
- The Parliament has approved the Mineral Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2020 on 12th March 2020 that envisages curtailing time lag in the operationalization of the coal blocks even after their allocation.
