Current Context: In order to have proper shipments amidst COVID-19, the Ministry of Commerce has launched an online platform that will help in carrying out the issuance process of mandatory documents required for exports to those countries with which India has made earlier trade agreements.

- Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has made mandatory guidelines for an exporter to submit a certificate of origin (COO) at the landing port of the importing country. COO is an essential certificate required to prove that from where the goods come from. It is important to claim duty concessions under free-trade agreements.
- The online platform has been designed as single-point access for all FTAs/Preferential trade agreements (PTA), for all designated COO issuing agencies and for all export products.
