• To develop this the research team at ARCI used conventional melting and powder metallurgy techniques.
• Fe-Mn based alloys are highly promisable biodegradable alloys which exhibit a non-magnetic form of iron with MRI suitability
• The alloys are suitable for biodegradable stent and orthopaedic implant applications
