  • The Electrochemical Sensing Platform will detect the carcinogenic or mutagenic compound NDMA (N –nitrisomethylamine) and NDEA (N-nitrosodietthanolamine) which is found in food items like cured meat , few cheese and low fat milk.
  • The invention resulted by developing a modified electrode by immobilizing carbon nanoparticles which are termed as carbon dots in DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid).
