Current Context: Indian Navy launched Operation Samudra Setu.
- The Operation Samudra Setu means Sea Bridge.
- The operation is launched to bring back the Indian citizens who are stranded overseas because of the COVID-1 pandemic.
- This operation is done by the Ministries of Defence, External Affairs, Home Affairs, Health, and various other agencies of Central/State governments.
