and Energy Efficient Buildings Initiative. MAITREE Program is launched by USAID (US Agency for International Development).
- This Healthy and Energy Efficient Buildings Initiative is a part if India US bilateral partnership between Power ministry of India and USAID.
- The initiative is launched with an aim to make workplaces, corporate offices etc. healthier and greener.
- Under this initiative, cost-effective energy efficiency measures will be adopted to create energy-efficient practices within buildings and focus on cooling measures, thus by addressing air quality, improving comfort in terms of energy usage.
