Current Context: The Government of Maharashtra has signed total of 12 Memorandum of Understaffing (MoU) with domestic and foreign companies for FDI worth over Rs 16,000 crores.

  • The MoUs are the part of Magnetic Maharashtra 2.0 initiative.
  • The MoUs signed are in the field of engineering, automotive part manufacturing, IT, logistics, chemicals and food processing.
  • Some of the companies with whom the MoUs signed are the US-based ExxonMobil, China-based Hingli, Singapore based Ascendas, India’s based Varun Beverages, Hiranandani Group of India, Singapore based APG DC Infra, South Korea based Rack Bank Data Centre, Isambe Logistics from Singapore and China-based Great Wall Motors.
