Current Context: Rajasthan Government has signed a pact with Power Grid Corporation of India and Educational Consultants India Limited (EdCIL) to set up smart classrooms in 100 schools of Rajasthan.
- The agreement is signed for costing of worth Rs 1.85 crore.
- The aim behind this is to promote and inculcate students in online education in the lockdown situation of COVID-19.
- By this initiative, the students from class 1 to 12 will be made available with e-content syllabus and study materials.
- Also, the initiative will train total 4 teachers from each schools and thus the schools will be getting smart classrooms.
