Rajasthan Government signs Pact with POWERGRID and EdCIL

Current Context: Rajasthan Government has signed a pact with Power Grid Corporation of India and Educational Consultants India Limited (EdCIL) to set up smart classrooms in 100 schools of Rajasthan.
Rajasthan Government signs Pact with POWERGRID and EdCIL
  • The agreement is signed for costing of worth Rs 1.85 crore.
  • The aim behind this is to promote and inculcate students in online education in the lockdown situation of COVID-19.
  • By this initiative, the students from class 1 to 12 will be made available with e-content syllabus and study materials.
  • Also, the initiative will train total 4 teachers from each schools and thus the schools will be getting smart classrooms.
