Current Context: The Union Government’s Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) has launched ‘Accelerate Vigyan’ Scheme and Portal associated with it.
- ‘Accelerate Vigyan’ is a scheme for research internships.
- It is launched with an objective to encourage high-end scientific research and prepare scientific manpower which will lead to research careers and will develop a knowledge economy.
- The portal address associated with it is www.acceleratevigyan.gov.in.The portal will display all the information and registration process for the application of research internship.
- The Accelerate Vigyan’ scheme will work in mission mode and has also started the process to call the applications for the process under ABHYAS scheme for winter.
