Current Context: Bombay Stock Exchange has signed MoU with IIT Alumni Council in order to boost the number of startups in India and to provide high investing depth to such new startups.
BSE signs MoU with IIT Alumni Council

  • The partnership will look to revitalize the startups in India by providing them a wide range of funds.
  • Both the entities together will encourage a listing culture of startups with minimum listing time, less complexity and in minimum cost rate.
  • They will together provide proper streamlining, automation and standardizing documentation process for the new startups.
  • IIT Alumni Council which is the body of alumni, students and faculty across all the 23 IITs with over 100 city chapters globally, will provide AI platform for the listing purpose of startups under this partnership.
  • BSE will ensure the transparency in the process, improve the governance of startups, market discovery of share price and will increase retail participation.
