CBSE partners with Facebook

Current Context: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has partnered with tech giant Facebook to launch a training program for teachers and students on digital safety and online well being.

  • The training program will be conducted for three weeks in which 10 thousand teachers and 10 thousand students will be trained. This will be the first phase of the training.
  • During the second phase, 30 thousands students will be provided training on digital safety.
  • The moto behind this initiative is to ensure digital safety as nowadays schools are shut down due to lockdown amidst COVID-19 and the academic learning process is carried out via online platforms.
