• The conference was organized by Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Geneva in partnership with Parliament of Austria with a support from United Nations
• Theme for the conference: ‘ Parliament leadership for more effective multilateralism hat delivers peace and sustainable development for the people and planet’
• India was represented by Indian Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla
• He expressed his opinion on improving governance by proper understanding and bridging the gap between parliaments and people
• Objective of conference was to provide strength and boost multilateralism and to have international cooperation in order to have better world to live
