Current Context: State Government of Madhya Pradesh has started a campaign ‘Ek Mask- Anek Zindagi’ (One mask many lives). The campaign is launched by MP’s Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh.
- The ‘Ek Mask- Anek Zindagi’ campaign is conducted from 1st August 2020 to 15th August 2020.
- The campaign aims to spread awareness and necessity of wearing a mask to contain and stop the spread of coronavirus.
- Under this campaign, Mask Banks are established in which people can donate mask which will be distributed free to the poor people. Apart from mask banks, people can also donate mask in NGOs.
- The campaign will also proceed by spreading awareness and importance of hygiene, ways to combat COVID-19 via postures, pamphlets etc.
- People can also provide funds to stitch mask to various self-help groups , under this campaign.
