Mukhya Mantri Kisan Sahay Yojana--Gujarat

Current Context: The government of Gujarat has launched Mukhya Mantri Kisan Sahay Yojana.

• The yojana is launched for the current cultivation of Kharif crops in the state.
• For the benefit of this yojana, the Kharif crop cultivating farmers will not have to pay any single amount of premium or neither they will have to go with the registration process for the yojana. 
• Mukhya Mantri Kisan Sahay Yojana will replace current insurance scheme (Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana) for this current year only.
• Hence, those farmers who have already paid a premium amount for the existing scheme will get refunds.
