‘MY IAF’ app—By Indian Air Force

Current Context: Indian Air Force has launched ‘MY IAF’ app.

• The app is the part of the Digital India initiative.
• The app will provide data related to career options to the aspirants who wish to join the Indian Air Force. 
• MY IAF app is linked with official media channels of IAF so that it will help aspirants to get updated with ongoing recruitment activities and other tasks in the Indian Air Force. 
• The app is developed by IAF in coordination with C-DAC (Center for Development of Advanced Computing).
• The app will display selection procedure in detail, pay and perks made for officers and airmen in IAF, training details.
• It will also display data about life in Indian Air Force, Ranks in Indian Air Force in order to boost and motivate aspirants.
• The various quiz will also be displayed in the app related to Aircraft inventory, technical quizzes, in order to help aspirants to get knowledge about aircraft.
