Current Context : The Reserve Bank of India has released a national strategy for the financial education for a period of five years.
 ‘National Strategy for Financial Education 2020-2025’- RBI
  • This National Strategy for Financial Education 2020-2025 aims to create a financial aware and empowered India.
  • This National Strategy for Financial Education 2020-2025 is the revised structure of first national Strategy for Financial Education 2013-2018. 
  • The National Strategy for Financial Education 2020-2025 is drafted by National Centers for Financial Education (NCFE). The NCFE was guided by RBI,SEBI and PFRDA, Department of Financial Services and other ministries of GOI which are under Technical Group on Financial Inclusion and Financial Literacy (TGFIFL). 
  • National Strategy for Financial Education 2020-2025 adopts ‘5C’ approach: Content, Capacity, Community, Communication and Collaboration. 
  • It also adopts Monitoring and Evaluation Framework which will assess and monitor the progress of this National Strategy for Financial Education 2020-2025
