Current Context: Government of Haryana has launched an identity card named as Parivar Pehchan Patras.
- It is developed by team members of Chief Ministers Office(CMO).
- The ID Card will help to carry out an effective and efficient way of delivering various central and state government schemes to the state people of Haryana.
- The card will be issued to each family of the state and it is said to reach to around 54 lakh families of Haryana.
- A unique 8 digit identification number will be allotted to each family.
- The Parivar Pehchan Patras will be having data like name of the head member of the family, age of each person in the family, income, contact details, address (permanent and temporary), village, district details pf the family to which they belong.
