Current Context: The entity of Ministry of Tribal Affairs, TRIFED (Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India) has launched Virtual Office Network to Spearhead Tribal Socio-Economic Development.
- The virtual office network was launched on the occasion of 33rd Foundation Day of TRIFED.
- The network is launched to offer employment and livelihood support to the tribal community.
- The virtual office network of TRIFED is having 81 online workstations and 100 additional converging state and agency workstations which will be managed and handled by TRIFED team members.
- ‘An Employee Engagement and Work Distribution Matrix with Dashboard Links’ has also been launched by TRIFED to boost the level of employee engagement and to provide a proper path to their efforts.
- Digital software has also been launched to map and link tribal-based villages and to promote their skills and artisan’s work to the nation.
