Current Context: The bilateral 2+2 Inter-sessional meeting between India and United States was conducted in virtual manner.
- India was represented by Joint Secretary for America in the ministry of external affairs, Vani Rao and Joint Secretary for International Cooperation in the ministry of defence, Somnath Ghosh.
- The meeting was held to discuss the regional and multilateral issues related to COVID-19 pandemic, counter-terrorism and about Indo-Pacific Region.
