- The ‘Backyard Horticulture’ Programme aims to increase the production of organic fruits for home consumption and to fulfil individual requirements in terms of economic and health.
- Under this programme, three fruit yielding plants costing to Rs 200 will be distributed to the farmers at 90% subsidy.
- The programme is expected to be beneficial to around 600 homes in Zone Marh, Jammu District.
