PFC signs MoU with Ministry of Power

Current Context: The Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has signed MoU with the Ministry of Power, GOI to detail the targets to be achieved by PFC during FY 2020-21. 
PFC signs MoU with Ministry of Power
  • Government of India has set a revenue target of Rs 36,000 crores for the current financial year. 
  • Along with this revenue target, GOI has also set performance-related targets, which are to be achieved during this fiscal year.
  • The performance related targets set for current fiscal year, defined by GOI are Operating profit as a percentage of revenue from operation, Profit After Tax (PAT) as a percentage of average net worth and non-financial parameters related to Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS).
  • The MoU agreement was signed by Sanjiv Nandan Sahai, Secretary of Power, GOI and R S Dhillion , CMD of PFC.
