Current Context: Microsoft has entered into a partnership with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to provide digital skills training to underserved women.
Microsoft partners with NSDC to Empower Women with Digital Skills
  • The digital skill training will be provided to 1 lakh underserved women in India for the next 10 months. 
  • This partnership is the extension of the initiative of Microsoft and NSDC to provide digital skills to 1 lakh youths of India.
  • Under this partnership, Microsoft and NSDC will provide live training sessions and digital skilling drives to girls and women. 
  • This will be helpful for girls and women to seek job opportunities. 
  • eSkill India, which is an initiative of NSDC will support in building this partnership through its skilling ecosystem like sector skill councils, training partners and training centres. 
  • Also upon completing the course, the girls and women will be provided with e-certificate for the same.
