- It is the first-of-its -kind Dolphin based eco-tourism programme based campaign.
- It was launched on the occasion of Ganga River Dolphin Day which is marked on 5th October.
- The aim behind this campaign is to achieve sustainable tourism and to motivate dolphin conservation for ecotourism across the river Ganga.
- Under this campaign, census under the stretch of river Ganga will also be conducted. Census will be conducted in 250 km stretch from Bijnor (UP) to Narora (UP).
- Dolphin Safari will also be conducted under this campaign at six sites of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal.
