51st Director General Level Border Coordination Conference

Current Context: The 51st Director General (DG) Level Border Coordination Meet took place from 22nd Dec to 26th Dec 2020.

• The meet was held between India’s Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB). 
• It was held in Guwahati, Assam.
• India was represented by DG Rakesh Asthana and Bangladesh was represented by Major General Md Shafeenul Islam.
• The dignitaries discussed border-related issues and assured to develop coordination between the border guarding forces of both nations.
