‘E-Sampada’ Web Portal and Mobile App

Current Context: The Minister of State (IC) for Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri launched the ‘E-Sampada’ web portal and a mobile app.
‘E-Sampada’ Web Portal and Mobile App
  • The E-Sampada is launched to serve a single platform to manage estate services of GOI. 
  • The app and web portal is developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC). 
  • The E-Sampada is basically an integration of 4 websites called gpra.nic.in, eawas.nic.in, estates.gov.in and holiday homes.nic.in. 
  • It is also an integration of the m-Awas app and m-Ashoka5 app. 
  • It includes all services including over one lakh GOI’s residential accommodations, office space allotment to government organisations in 45 office complexes in 28 Indian cities and booking of 1176 holiday homerooms. 
  • The portal and app will help Indian citizens to lodge complaints, submit necessary documents and can also appear for virtual hearings. 
  • It will offer transparency and accountability in estate service activities like allotment, retention and regularization on a real-time basis.
  • This E-Sampada app and portal will help to bring uniformity in estate systems and organisations of India with the motto of ‘One Nation, One System’.
