Current Context: The Indian Government and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have entered into a partnership of 4.21 million dollar Project Readiness Financing (PRF) facility in Tripura.
India and ADB Signed 4.21 million Dollar PRF Facility for Tripura
  • The PRF facility is for preparation of infrastructure development projects in order to develop urban amenities and for developing tourism infra in the state.
  • This is the first-ever PRF facility for northeastern Indian state by ADB. 
  • The funds will be utilized to improve urban and tourism services in Tripura.
  • This will help to improve the economy of the state.
  • The funds will help to prepare infrastructure projects through feasibility studies, analysis of engineering designs and by developing capacity building of state-level agencies in order to ensure climatic safety, safety from disasters and to build projects with accuracy.
