Current Context: Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), which is the global higher education think-tank, has released QS Asia University Rankings 2021.

• It is released in partnership with King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Saudi Arabia.
• The ranking list is topped by National University of Singapore (NUS) for the third consecutive year.
• From India, 3 IITs have made positions in top 50. The IITs are namely, IIT Bombay (37th Rank), IIT-Delhi (47th Rank) and IIT-Madras (50th Rank).
• The second rank is marked by Tsinghua University (China) and the third rank is marked by Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).
