BSSUKM signed MoU with NKJ Biofuel Ltd

Current Context: The Bhoramdeo Sahakari Sakhar Utpadak Karkhana Maryadit (BSSUKM) which a sugar mill has signed MoU with NKJ Biofuel Ltd.

• The MoU is signed to set up India’s first Ethanol Plant on the basis of public-private partnership (PPP). 
• It will be built in Kabirdham, Chhattisgarh; which is the headquarter of BSSUKM.
• The plant will be producing ethanol from sugarcane. 
• For this purpose, Rs 100 crore will be invested and ethanol plant with the capacity of 40 kiloliters per day will be set up.
• The ethanol plant will be the great opportunity of employment to the state people and will also prove beneficial to the sugarcane cultivators.
