Current Context: India has announced that it has pledged to provide USD 150,000 to United Nations Peacebuilding Fund (PBF) for 2021.

• Announcement of this was made by India's permanent representative to the United Nations, TS Tirumurti.
• This fund amount will help to offer support to the UN for its activities and programmes for 2021. 
• The funds will be particularly used for peacebuilding with a broader context and to tackle COVID-19 pandemic.
