Current Context: The Government of Karnataka has flagged off 40 Krishi Sanjeevani Vans to test the quality of soil, water for farming purpose.

Krishi Sanjeevani Vans -- Karnataka

It was flagged off in Bengaluru.
The Krishi Sanjeevani Vans will also suggest remedies for pest control in order to improve the productivity of farms.
These vans are launched by Agriculture Department of the state in partnership with central assistance under National Krishi Vikas Yojana.
Upon analyzing the quality of soil, the Agri department will suggest a solution to the farmer community.
