- India’s first ‘Amputee Clinic’ was launched in Chandigarh by Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). The ‘Amputee Clinic’ was launched with an aim to improve amputation patient care through various services under one platform. The clinic will provide care in form of social, mental and physical to its patients.
- To monitor the ‘GOBARDHAN Activities’ in India, the Union Agriculture Minister, Narendra Singh Tomar; Union Petroleum Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan; Union Animal Husbandry Minister, Giriraj Singh; Union Jal Shakti Minister, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Minister of State of Jal Shakti, Rattan Lal Kataria launched the unified web portal. The portal will keep a track record of the activities under Gobardhan like village cleanliness, generation of wealth and energy from cattle and organic waste. It will promote to convert cattle dung and solid waste to use compost and biogas.
