Gov. of Goa signed MoU with CII

Current Context: Government of Goa signed MoU with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

• They have signed MoU to set up a Model Career Centre in Goa.
• This partnership will help in creating jobs and will increase the livelihood of the youths of Goa.
• The Model Career Centre will provide a connection between employment opportunities and job seekers.
• The youths will be provided with career counselling and guidance. They will be imparted with various training sessions which will help them to perform in job placement opportunities.
• The Model Career Centre of CII will provide jobs in the state, Pan India locations and also in abroad locations to the youths of the state.
• This partnership will prove beneficial to around 27,000 youths and will provide jobs to 7000 candidates of the state.
