India and Australia Signed MoU for Space Collaboration

Current Context: India signed MoU with Australia to boost partnership in Civil Space Activities. In this regards, MoU was signed between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Australian Space Agency.

• Both the entities will work in the sectors of civil space research, technology development for space, capability development in space, education activities and the use of outer space to have peace
• The MoU is basically an amendment of the ‘2012 India Australia Inter-Governmental MoU for Cooperation in Civil Space Science, Technology and Education
