India & Qatar held 4th Foreign Office Consultations

Current Context: India and Qatar virtually held the 4th session of Foreign Office Consultations.

• The Indian side was represented by Sanjay Bhattacharyya. He is Secretary of Consular, Passport and Visa and OIA in Ministry of External Affairs.
• Qatar’s side was represented by Dr Ahmad Hassen Al-Hammadi. He is Secretary-General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• They held the discussions about enhancing bilateral cooperation in areas like political, energy, science & tech, health security, food and defence.
• They also agreed to conduct the first Joint Commission meeting between foreign ministries of both nations.
