Current Context: Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal launched ‘Switch Delhi’ Campaign.

• The campaign is launched to promote usage of electric vehicles and encourage a community of Delhi to purchase electric vehicles.
• The more number of usage of electric vehicles will help to reduce air pollution in the capital.
• In this regards, the Delhi Government has set a target of 25% of electric vehicles in the total registration in Delhi by 2024.
• Under this campaign, the CM announced that the Gov. of Delhi will hire only electric vehicles for other purposes in the next 6 weeks.
