Current Context: The Young Readers’ Boat Library was launched by West Bengal Transport Corporation in Kolkata.

• It is launched in partnership with a heritage book store.
• The moto being this unique library is to enjoy reading books while appreciating the beauty of Kolkata.
• The boat library will cruise on the Hooghly river of Kolkata and will offer a 3 hours trip.
• The boat library is having Wi-fi facility and will also host other activities like storytelling, dramatised readings, poetry sessions, book launches, music etc.
