India-South Korea Friendship Park

Current Context: India’s Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh and South Korea’s Minister of National Defence, Suh Wook jointly inaugurated an Indo-Korean Friendship Park in Delhi State Park.

• The park signifies the friendly relations between both nations and serves as a monument to India's contribution to a part of the country that participated in the Korean War (1950-53) in the 21st century with the support of the United Nations.
• The park is developed jointly by the Ministry of National Defense, the Government of India, the Indian Army, the Delhi Cantonment Board, the Korean Embassy and the Indian North Korean Veterans Association.
