Italy signed Framework Agreement of the ISA

Current Context: Italy has entered into a framework agreement of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) with India.

• The announcement for the same was made by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Anurag Srivastava.
• Italy signed ISA’s framework agreement after the amendment to the agreement which entered into force on 8th Jan 2021, opening the membership of the alliance to all the UN member states.
• The Framework Agreement was signed by the Ambassador of Italy Vincenzo De Luca.
