'Mera Ration' Mobile App

Current Context: With an aim to implement the 'One Nation-One Ration Card' system in India, the GOI has launched the 'Mera Ration' mobile app.

• The ‘Mera Ration' mobile app will guide the citizens to locate the nearest fair price shop.
• This will be of high advantage to those who have moved to new areas for livelihoods.
• The app is developed by the government in association with NIC. The app will facilitate 'One Nation-One Ration Card' services among the National Food Security Act (NFSA) beneficiaries like migrant beneficiaries, FPS dealers and stakeholders.
• The app will help the user to track details of food grains entitlement and past transactions.
